Like every other business, the first step to successful business is to first know the basic things about that business, so also blogging, when starting blogging, there are some blogging guide lines you need to know first before starting your blog.

1. Idea: When starting a blog, the first thing you need to look into is the kind of Niche you will like to fall into. Some people may be asking, what is this niche all about. Well, Niche simply means The Topic. For example, there are people in the business niche, Tech Niche, news niche, personal stuffs Niche etc. The big question is what niche do I chose to blog about? Pondering over this question can be very frustrating especially when you're about starting your blog and have no particular niche in mind. At this point, so many ideas seems to creeps in, you begin to think, should I blog on business or News or Music and entertainment, blog about Arabian model horse, blog on collectibles, blog about domain, or just anything else.

The truth is that you can't blog about everything. To decide on what to blog about, there are things to consider first, a lot of them, but I'll write about the ones I think is the most important. And with those in mind, you can easily decide on others and come up with what to blog about. Here are what to think about.

It doesn’t matters the type of niche you choose, What matters is you having idea of the Niche. You need to have an idea of what to blog about. If you don’t know what to blog about, I suggest you blog about what you are passionate about.


2.Blogger platform: Choose a suitable platform: Like the one am using for this site, it’s a blogger platform. Blogger.com platform are own by Google. You need a Gmail account before you will be allow access into the platform. It free to use and it comes with exciting features. There are lots of template you can use on the platform and also lot of free template you can download online. There are other great blogging platforms which you can use and open source blogging softwares like: Wordpress, Typad, Profy, MovableType, Textpattern, Space by MSN etc but I will recommend blogger platform for beginners because it is so secure for hackers.



3.Get A Domain: After you might have decided on what Niche you fall into and have decided on the platform you are using, register your domain name. Registering a domain simply means to choose a domain that is most appropriate to your chosen Niche or use a sub domain like Yourname .blogspot.com if you are going to be using blogger as your blogging platform or yourname.wordpress.com if you will be using wordpress for your blogging platform.



4.Research: This is a very important when it comes to blogging. If you are the type that wants to blog for income and not just for catching fun, this aspect is very important. For every topics of your post, you will need to be doing some little research so as to know how to really give the topic. Search engine indexes each blog and website according to its keyword orientation, therefore you’ll need to choose which keyword you would like your blog to be indexed on. 6.Gather your Resources Together: This means bringing together all things you have been gathering put them together now for your first blogging experience.


7.Time: In everything in life, time is very important. Time is everything when it comes to blogging; you need to give your blogging a lot of time to experiment with the feel and look of your blog. Remember, your blog wouldn't be at its best from the start, give enough time to experiment with it. You will also need a lot of time in writing your blog post, try to be your best and write what you thing will be beneficial to your readers. With time you will be your best in blogging.
